Author collaboration network, where nodes
represent top 100 authors in terms of the numbers of authored papers in the data
set; links are co-authorships. The map was created using bibliometrix-R package
and is based on bibliographic records from Web of Science for the 143 studies
included in our database. Author clusters were manually annotated in Adobe
Illustrator with the respective main study organisms (also, label positions were
shifted to reduce overlaps).
